#Rapper #BlacYoungsta Detained in Atlanta Bank Parking Lot
#ATLANTA – It was a scene hard to miss by many Friday afternoon commuters in Buckhead as police held about nine people in handcuffs in the parking lot of a busy bank.
It happened at the Wells Fargo on the corner of Peachtree Drive and Piedmont Road. Atlanta Police said officers were requested at the location by the bank manager.
A witness said several people jumped out of an SUV when police arrived. Officers said they placed them in handcuffs while they investigated. Ultimately, police found no crime had been committed and let them all go.
“What’s wrong with having $200,000?” Blac Youngsta, a recently signed rapper, told FOX 5 News.
Blac Youngsta said he was at the bank to make a large withdrawal to purchase a luxury car.
“It makes me feel like I can’t be young, black, and rich,” said Blac Youngsta.
Blac Youngsta said the incident killed his mood and he plans to hold off on the car for now. He said he would be taking his banking elsewhere.
